Kelly P. Hawruk
Practicing law in North New Jersey for over 20 years, Kelly Hawruk is experienced in all aspects of litigation. Having focused her practice primarily in the areas of family law litigation, estate administration, estate litigation, and business law matters and disputes, Ms. Hawruk has successfully litigated and amicably resolved hundreds of cases. Ms. Hawruk is well known for her dedication to her clients and her commitment to the practice of law. Her representation is practical, attentive, and cost effective, but also aggressive when necessary.
As an experienced mediator, Ms. Hawruk is often appointed by the Court to mediate matters involving contract disputes, probate matters and estate litigation, and is on the Superior Court Roster of Civil Mediators for Essex, Morris, and Passaic Counties. Furthermore, Ms. Hawruk has been approved by the Superior Court of New Jersey to mediate foreclosure matters in Morris, Passaic and Essex Counties. Ms. Hawruk also serves as a panelist on the Early Settlement Panel in Passaic County, assisting family law litigants and their attorneys settle cases prior to trial.
Ms. Hawruk has conducted hundreds of residential and commercial real estate transactions and was a licensed title insurance producer for many years. Ms. Hawruk has lectured and authored teaching material for title insurance law on behalf of National Business Institute. Further, Ms. Hawruk has lectured on family law issues at William Paterson University, Wayne, New Jersey; Women In Transition, Wayne, New Jersey and Linda & Rudy Slucker NCJW Center for Women, Livingston, New Jersey. She volunteers for various charitable organizations and has acted as a mentor for the New Jersey State Bar Association Mock Trial Program, mentoring the 2004 Law Adventure State Champions.
